2. Scope
This policy applies to the use of the Vortex Athena mobile application for iOS and Android distributed through the App Store and Google Play.
3. Summary
In this version, we do not collect personal user data.
The app does not display advertising or integrate ad or analytics SDKs.
Multiplayer connectivity: We use Photon Fusion 2 (Photon Cloud) for online games; its servers process the IP address and, if the App defines it, a player identifier (UserID) solely for the operation and security of the multiplayer service. It is not used for advertising purposes.
This version does not require login or account creation.
If we add persistent online features in the future (e.g., registration/leagues/ranking), we will update this policy and our statement on Google Play before publishing those features.
4. Data we process
We do not collect or share personal data with third parties through the app. For online multiplayer, Photon servers process the device's IP address and, if the app defines it, a UserID, solely for the essential purpose of service operation, stability, and security. We do not use this information for advertising or profiling.
Please note that the distribution platform (Google Play) and the Android operating system may treat technical information under their own policies.
5. Device permissions
The app does not request optional permissions (such as camera, microphone, contacts, or location). It only uses the minimum permissions that Android provides by default for its basic operation.
6. Online Multiplayer (Photon Fusion 2) (Coming Soon)
We use Photon Fusion 2 (Photon Cloud) to enable online gaming and real-time synchronization. To connect and route players, Photon servers process the device's IP address and, if the app defines it, a player identifier (UserID). According to the provider's public information, Photon only processes IPs and UserIDs and does not store personally identifiable information (PII). This information is used exclusively for service operation, stability, security, and fraud prevention. Photon operates regions in multiple countries; the connection may be routed to the region with the best latency or to a region predefined by the app. We do not use this information for advertising purposes.
If future versions include login, persistent profiles, or rankings, we will update this policy and the statements on Google Play before releasing the new features, including a clear mechanism for exercising rights and, where applicable, deleting account and data.
7. Minors
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information in error, please contact us to have it removed.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the app and your communications. However, no system is 100% secure; we recommend using up-to-date devices.
9. Transfers and third parties
We do not sell personal data. In this version, we do not integrate third-party providers who process user data from the app beyond the multiplayer service described.

11. Changes to this policy
